Action Alert: Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency to Hold Virtual CWD Public Forums
The Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency (TWRA) is seeking questions and comments for a series of virtual public meetings focused on chronic wasting disease (CWD). The purpose of the events is for TWRA to get feedback and answer questions from the public about CWD in Tennessee.
The two meetings will be held on September 23 and October 29 – both at noon CDT. Both meetings can easily be attended virtually and seen live on TWRA’s Facebook page. If you can’t catch the meetings live, the recordings will be available at a later date.
Comments and/or questions will be taken in advance and during the meetings, and TWRA representatives will answer the questions live during the meetings. One of the National Deer Alliance’s (NDA) primary focus areas is policy that impacts deer and hunting, and one of our top priorities is CWD. We encourage NDA’s Tennessee members to log-on to the virtual meetings, and we encourage early submission of questions and comments. Questions and comments submitted in advance of the events should be sent to [email protected], or on Facebook via direct message.
