NDA Announces Velvet Buck Photo Contest – Bear Legion Bow Package Grand Prize
The National Deer Alliance (NDA) is conducting a velvet buck trail camera photo contest during the month of August with the owner of the best photo taking home a Bear Legion bow package. The grand prize is a Bear Legion bow (RH) decked out with a whisker biscuit rest, Trophy Ridge fixed pin sight, and wrist sling. The bow has an adjustable draw weight range of 30-70 lbs. and an adjustable draw length, currently set at 29 inches. Second and third place photographers will receive a soft-sided Alps OutdoorZ gun case.
Contest Rules
In order to be eligible, the following rules must be strictly adhered to:
- Only trail camera photos of wild velvet bucks from 2018 are eligible.
- Entries are limited to two photos per person.
- The size of the buck in the photo will not determine the winner.
- To be eligible, you must:
- subscribe to the NDA On Watch newsletter, or already be a subscriber.
- “Like” the NDA Facebook page, or follow NDA on Instagram or Twitter.
- Tag at least one friend in a post on any of the social media platforms that you think would be interested in the contest.
- The deadline for entries is midnight, Friday, August 31.
How to Enter
You can enter the contest by emailing your photo(s) to [email protected]. You must include your full name, and the state where the image was taken. By submitting images you are granting permission to NDA to use them in future publications or social media posts. Credit will be given to the photographer.
How to Win
A panel of judges will select at least five top photos as finalists. The images will then be announced on the NDA Facebook page and also the NDA On Watch newsletter where the public will vote via the NDA On Watch newsletter poll. The poll will also be announced on social media.
